    Emma: March 2016

Here is what Emma was up to the month of March.

She tried eggs for the first time and loved them!

But unfortunately it looks like she is allergic to the egg whites because her face looked like this after she was done. We will try again at a year old.

She has become a tummy sleeper. One night she fell asleep nursing and rolled off the boppy and onto my leg. She stayed asleep there until I moved her.

    She loves pickles.

She has such a happy personality and is rarely fussy.

She is such a daddy's girl. She just lights up anytime he is in the room. If she is asleep and she hears his voice, often times it will wake her up.

We took her to the park and tried the baby swing. She was so tiny in it and wasn't really sure what to do.

She loves to look at herself so a lot of times I will put my camera on the selfie mode and let her laugh at herself and take some selfies.

These are our "it's the Friday before spring break" smiles

We had such a great spring break. I was so sad when it was over and it really made me want Summer to get here as fast as possible.

She spend a lot of time being naked over break. She loved it.

Bobby has been working a lot of weekends because they are so busy at work so the 1st Saturday of break we met him for lunch.

She really started pulling up on everything during break. This is her favorite toy. It plays music and lights up.

We took some time to do some spring cleaning and Bobby tried out his baby carrier hiking bike pack. She is still to small for it, but it will be useful in the future.

Since she is a pro at crawling now she likes to explore everything.

Her door jumper is her second favorite toy.

She loves feeding herself, here it is tortillas.

The time changed screwed up her schedule for several days. The first day she went down fine but the the next night it was 10 pm and then 9 pm the next night before we could get her in bed. Her normal bed time is 7:30 pm.

It was pretty warm outside so we played with water.

We don't have a kiddie pool yet so I got a storage tub and made our own.

She is so proud of herself for standing. This is also where I realized she can say Mama and Dada and knows exactly what it means.

She was hard core teething so the cold teethers are awesome.

She loves playing with herself in front of the mirror.

She had her first Easter. She was super fussy that weekend, due to some medicine I was on so we didn't get any family pictures.

We also went shopping one weekend and she modeled a few things for us.

One night I just wanted to take a nice hot shower, without Emma in the bathroom with me. She was being fussy and when I got out of the shower she was happy as could be in the carrier with Bobby.

She had her first waffle (no butter or syrup) and some egg yolk one night. She definitely doesn't like eggs as much without the whites.

She has also been having a lot of fun at daycare. They say she is never still and when they put her in something that makes her stationary like the bumpo she gets mad.

She really enjoyed playing with whipcream

I'm not sure when it happened but we somehow got in the habit of nursing to sleep for naps instead of only bedtimes and now that has translated to daycare. Some days she will only nap once while there. I am definitely ready for summer so we can do some sleep training. Our co-sleeping days are very numbered as she is just all over the bed.
