May 2017

This is what we were up to in May. This is also that last week of school and I was in charge of all three grade level award ceremonies so it was a very busy month.

We started off the month with dinner and games at some friends house that we don't get to see very often.

Emma started asking for a "tail" pony tail and she learned how to put on pants.

She was really into Bobby playing the guitar this month too.

We also started looking for a house to purchase this month and that schedule on the weekends and she had some rough days of naps.

This month was also really hard because one of our dear friend passed away from cancer at the age of 28 leaving behind a wife and unborn daughter. It was definitely a stress filled, emotional month.

Here are some random pictures and videos from the month.

The last week of school this year was bitter sweet, normally I am super ready and while I was ready this year, it was one of my favorite groups of students to have.

We went to Whataburger after church one morning for breakfast because Emma kept asking for french fries. Those were her favorite food this month.

Emma: 21 Months Old

Emma turned 21 months on April 30th, 2017. According to "What to Expect the Toddler Years" here is where she was at in her development.

At 21 months Emma can do everything a toddler her age should be able to do including:

  • build a tower of two cubs
  • point to one body part when asked

may possibly  may even be able to do

Easter 2017

Easter this year was a lot of fun. It started on Good Friday with an Easter Egg hunt at daycare and then we went to the Lake on Sunday to spend the day with my family. Then, that evening we came home and played with bubbles outside.

April 2017

Here is what we were up to in April. Since Easter was this month that is in a separate post here

We went to CJ's birthday party.
 We were really into coloring.

 And watching our videos.

 We were still battling impetigo.
We really liked reading with daddy. Especially to him.
We went to dinner with friends. Emma did really good through a quoted 20 min wait which turned into over an hour.

Played with the leftover Easter eggs.
 Had lots of snuggles.

Not sure why we baby proofed.
