Pregnancy #2: 30 Weeks, specialist and midwife appointments

I was 30 weeks pregnant on February 27th.

According to thebump.com the baby is the size of a cucumber.

The Baby
His skin is getting smoother and his brain is getting wrinklier to make way for brain tissue.
He is now strong enough to grasp a finger!
He is around 16 in long and 3 lbs.

The Mama
This was the 2nd week out of the hospital. I was able to do a lot more this week and felt much better. The best part was being able to drive myself again. I was able to go back to the chiropractor and work on my ribs that were out of place due to being sick. I also got a free prenatal massage which was heaven after being in a hospital bed for 2 weeks. I wasn't sleeping great because I couldn't sleep on my right side due to my incisions and shoulder issues. I was off my pain meds for the most part this week though.

The Midwife Appointment
The midwife appointment went well. They came to visit me everyday while in the hospital so they said I looked so much better. My blood pressure was good and no signs of preeclampsia. The baby measured right on track.

The Specialist Appointment
This appointment they started monitoring just because I had been in the hospital (even though they monitored twice a day in the hospital. They also rechecked the fluid since it was low in the hospital and it was back up to the middle of normal. Normally they don't start monitoring weekly until 32 weeks, but they went and a head and started me now because I had been in the hospital. He is breech, which honestly doesn't surprise me with all the laying on my back and reclining I did in the hospital. Time for some spinning babies. My specialist also said I looked way better.
