Emma: 13 Months old

Emma was 13 months old on August 30th, 2016. According to "What to Expect the Toddler Years" here is where Emma is in her development.

Things a 13 month old will probably be able to do:

• She can do all of them:
• put an object in a container
• imitate activities
• stand alone
• use 1 recognizable word

Things a toddler her age may possible be able to do:

• She can do:
• drink from a cup
• point to a desired object
• walk well
• She can't yet do:
• scribble (we haven't tried it)
• say 2 recognizable words

Things a toddler her age may even be able to do:

• She can do:
• use an object in imitation
• She can't yet do:
• use a spoon/fork (we haven't tried)
• remove an article of clothing
• point to a body part when asked
