Pregnancy #2: 32 Weeks and Specialist Appointment/Midwife Appointment

I was 32 weeks pregnant on March 13th.

According to thebump.com, the baby is size of a squash.

The Baby

He is getting ready for his arrival and is likely head-down, (this was confirmed at our specialist appointment)

He is probably feeling cramped, (I think he still has a lot of room based on movements)

He is around 16.7 in long and weighs around 3.8 lbs. His movements are great, but he would fail the kick count test at this point if they had asked me to start. He will be super active for a couple of days and then sleep pretty much a whole day with barely any movement.

The Mama
This was spring break week for me, which was great as after being back at work for a week after being sick for a month it was a nice break again. I definitely felt like I got some rest.  We kept Emma in daycare this week because I had so many appointments. I was also able to get another prenatal message, which was great, but not sure messages from strangers are really my thing.

I had to get a chest x-ray for my follow up with my surgeon next week and the place almost wouldn't let me get it due to being pregnant, even though they have the covers. I get being cautious, however my doctor knows I am pregnant and it is obviously needed to make sure I am healing correctly before delivery.

The Midwife Appointment
We did my 3rd trimester labs at this appointment and everything came back looking great. Blood pressure still good and baby has a good heartbeat.

The Specialist Appointment
We did the 20 minutes monitoring and then the ultrasound scan to check on him. Everything looked good, fluid is still back up from being down when I was in the hospital. We talked about a delivery date and she said that if baby isn't here by week 39 then she wants me induced sometime that week. There is a high chance of still birth for babies with down syndrome past the 39 week mark. So, he will be here sometime the week of April 30th!
